About
About Neuro
Developed by former athletes who understand the complicated recovery process.
Why we built Neuro
Our collective experience in sport and tech showed us a bridge between user experience, science, and technology. Neuro Concussion Tracker™ is what we built on it.
The core focus of Neuro is to help people make sense of an inconsistent recovery and better understand their triggers. Concussion recovery rarely moves in a straight line; good days and bad days arrive without an obvious pattern, and that uncertainty is often the hardest part.
What we're working toward
Since 2024, we've made significant progress with our recovery support features. The goal for Neuro is to support recovery in complex cases by displaying fluctuations and potential triggers, so you can safely balance day-to-day life during recovery without spiking your symptoms.
Researchers describe this balancing act as staying under your symptom threshold. In Neuro, we call it Threshold Management. It is a work in progress, and it evolves with each app update. See how Neuro works.
How we build
- Use the devices people already own. No new hardware, no extra gadgets to manage.
- Keep the interface as simple as possible, so using the app never adds to your cognitive load.
- Offer it at a fair and reasonable price.
Recovery is already challenging. We want to make it manageable.
The science we lean on
Our process is informed by published research and consensus, such as the SCAT6 protocol (British Journal of Sports Medicine, 2023). The full picture of how the app turns that research into daily tracking is on the methodology page.
